KAWS ONEkawsone in my opinion one of the today's best contemporary artist. His cartoony images and signature X eyes and cross bone is the most identifiable features noticed. He not only is great but his reworked Andy Warhol's Camble Soup is better than the original. With his company Orinalfake, he sells great looking toys,clothes featuring pictures of his art.
he has collaborated with some of the hip-hop and fashion industries best, teaming up with Pharrell williams to design for his ice cream/BBC clothing line. also he has worked with Nike to create a pair of exclusive '95 nike-air-max - . and he just recently finished designing artwork for kanye west's new 808 album and teaming up with company BAPE and it's CEO Nigo to create a pair of sneakers. Finally the latest news on Kaws is his art exhibition that opened up in New York this weekend featuring canvases done by him for pharrell and wax figures. here's a preview of his exhibition.
